
New details in 3-alarm fire on Market Street that prompted evacuations at senior apartment complex

CBS 8 has learned the company operating the warehouse didn't have a permit allowing them to operate as a business.
The three-alarm fire near the Potiker senior apartments in East Village left one person with burn injuries and prompted about 50 residents to evacuate Wednesday morning, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The fire was reported just before 4:30 a.m. near Market Street and 14th Street, officials said. Around 100 firefighters responded to the incident.
