CDC Says Waiting Longer Between COVID Vaccine Doses Could Reduce Myocarditis

The CDC has new guidance on how long to wait between Covid-19 doses, saying most people 12 and older should wait up to eight weeks with studies showing that waiting longer between doses may reduce the risk of heart inflammation called myocarditis. NBC News’ Joshua Johnson is joined by NBC News medical contributor Dr. Kavita Patel to discuss the CDC’s vaccine updates.
