Now, we get how cute puppies and kittens can be, but nothing can compare to the love and gratitude you get from adopting a Senior pet. We have many deserving dogs and cats that are lingering at the shelter through no fault of their own. They are often here because their owner has had a life change that means they can’t care for them any longer. These sweet seniors are truly grateful for every kind word, soft bed and ear scratch they can get. I’m sure it reminds them of younger days when they didn’t have to worry that they may spend their final years with no ohana to look after.
