
Black History Month 2021 - Community Voices

Cohesion Plus working with North Kent Caribbean Network produced this short film as part of Black History Month Kent 2021.
The film brought together the Creative Studies Team from the Kent Adult Education service along with members of the local community in North Kent to talk about their identity, their past and the present and their hopes for the future, the importance of celebrating Black History Month and what it means to them. Along with the film they produced creative pieces of artwork which were showcased as part Black History Month in Kent. This project was filmed at the Gravesend Adult Education Centre in October 2021.
